I am an experienced therapist who is direct, affirming and effective in helping couples and individuals 'do what works' in and out of the bedroom. This requires facing and dealing with what holds you back, shuts you down, turns you off and intimidates you--because, this will open you up, draw you closer, and bind you together in abundant & authentic love. I help patients face their truth, heal trauma, break cycles of harmful patterns (including co-dependency, abuse, power & control, disorganized thinking, and collusive alliance).

Instead of dealing with the real reasons for your anxiety, depression, loneliness, fear, isolation and despair, you may choose something that temporarily takes away the weight and sorrow that is imbedded in these heavy emotions and seemingly unbearable realities. This merely offers a false sense of resolve and a modicum of relief--only to ultimately increase the intensity of distressing thoughts and feelings.

Stress comes from the way you relate to people, events and situations, including how you look at obstacles. One of the reasons an obstacle is in your life is to grow from it and to become stronger. You can find tremendous benefit in obstacles by facing their inherent challenges and overcoming them, rather than turning away, giving up and feeling defeated.
